Pillow Spray

1 ounce Glass Spray Bottle
3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
2 drops Geranium Essential Oil
7 drops Orange Essential Oil

Just under 1/8 cup distilled or purified water

Directions:

Add essential oils to the empty glass spray bottle, add just under 1/8 cup of distilled water to the bottle. Close the spray bottle and shake before each use.

It is important to use distilled or purified water as this product is being made at home and using regular tap water could introduce bacteria.  As such, you should try to use this linen spray within 1-2 weeks and make a fresh batch often or keep it in the fridge between uses.

If you do not like Lavender essential oil, a good substitute is Clary Sage Essential Oil

Lavender essential oil has a scent that’s a wonderful blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calm. It’s this dynamic aroma that has made the plant a classic for perfumes, soaps, fresheners, and beauty products. As one of our most popular products, Lavender is a great beginner oil and a must for every home. Lavender essential oil isn’t just a favorite because of its classic scent—it’s also highly versatile. From skin care products to relaxing routines, this oil can infuse and enhance many areas of your life. Lavender is known for its ability to promote feelings of calm and fight occasional nervous tension.

Geranium essential oil has a sweet, floral fragrance.  Geranium was used by the Egyptians to promote beautiful, radiant-looking skin when applied topically. Today this potent oil is often used in high-end perfumes and skin care products. Cultivated from the fragrant flower native to South Africa and obtained through a careful distillation process, Geranium’s sweet, floral scent can be used topically and aromatically. Add Geranium to lotion, body wash, and hair care to enhance the aroma of your personal care products. Because Geranium oil has versatile benefits, you can also diffuse it to invite a peaceful, spiritual feeling in your living room or meditative space.

Orange essential oil has an emotionally uplifting and familiar aroma that helps to unblock and circulate stagnant energy, making it a wonderful oil for calming.  Orange essential oil is also one of the few citrus essential oils that is not phototoxic, making it a great option for using in topical skin care formulations that need citrus notes.
